User Information

This database provides access to ICTY public court records from 1994 to the present.

March 2016 update: public videos of the Karadžić trial are now available

To search these videos, please select:
• Languages: ‘All’
• Name of Accused: ‘Karadzic Radovan’
• Type of Document: ‘Transcripts/Videos’
• Document Title: Video
• Date Range: Enter the ‘from’ and ‘to’ dates

Each video has four audio channels: floor, English, French and B/C/S.

Users of Internet Explorer 11 (IE11) can stream directly from their browser by clicking on the ‘Play’ button. To select your preferred language in IE11, click on the ‘Audio Selection Menu’ circle and one of ‘untitled tracks’ 1 to 4.

Users of other browsers can download the video files. Some browsers may only be able to play the videos with the default or ‘floor’ audio channel. To select your preferred language on downloaded video files, we recommend viewing them on VLC, a PC and Mac accessible video player. To select your preferred language in VLC: click on the ‘Audio’ tab, then on ‘Audio Track Options’ and finally on one of the ‘Audio Tracks’ 1 to 4.

Please note the videos are large files and may take a few minutes to download. Videos may run a minute or so before the actual hearing footage begins. In this lag time you may see an image of the ICTY logo.
